As part of First Fortnight Festival 2026, the French Embassy and the Alliance Française Network in Ireland are delighted to present a special online screening of ‘Toni (Toni en famille ) by Nathan Ambrosioni.
Starring Camille Cottin (Call My Agent!), this moving comedy-drama tells the story of Toni, a single mother raising five children – A full-time job. She also sings at bars and once had a hit single 20 years ago. As her two eldest prepare to leave for college, Toni wonders: what will she do when all of her offspring have left home? At 43, is it still possible to take her life back into her own hands? This online screening explores the challenges faced by women who find themselves at a turning point in their lives, balancing resilience, identity, and hope.
